Our mulled cider is a Nightingale seasonal favourite — a warming, gently spiced blend made from our own Kentish apples. It's ready to serve hot straight from the bottle: just heat gently in a pan and serve in a mug.

The smell alone is enough to make you feel like Christmas has arrived.

Tasting notes

Rich and inviting, with aromas of cinnamon, clove, orange peel and star anise. The flavour is warming and gently sweet, with apple as the heart and the spices playing a supporting role. Comforting, familiar, and deeply satisfying on a cold evening.

How to serve

Heat gently in a pan over a low heat — do not boil. Serve in mugs or heatproof glasses. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a slice of orange if you like. Also delicious served cold over ice as a spiced cider punch.

Food pairings

Perfect alongside mince pies, roasted chestnuts, a cheese board or Christmas pudding. The ultimate fireside drink.
