Fledgling No.4 showcases one of our most extraordinary apple varieties: Redlove. Its flesh is a deep crimson red all the way through — rare in an apple, and it gives this pét-nat a stunning natural blush without a drop of added fruit.

Made in tiny quantities using the traditional pét-nat method: bottled before fermentation is complete and left to finish naturally in the bottle.

Tasting notes

A beautiful pale rose-pink in the glass with a gentle, creamy fizz. Fragrant red berry, wildflower and a touch of spice on the nose. On the palate it's fresh and slightly tart, with strawberry and red apple fruit and a long, bright finish. Lively and utterly charming.

A note on pét-nat

Naturally cloudy with possible fine sediment — part of the character of this style. Chill well before opening. The colour will vary slightly from batch to batch depending on the season's fruit.

Food pairings

Perfect as an aperitif or alongside light starters: smoked fish, crab, fresh goat's cheese, or summer berry desserts. A conversation-starter in every sense.
