The Charcoal Burner

Six years in the making, The Charcoal Burner is a very special bottle-conditioned and wild-fermented sparkling cider. It's made from a blend of Russet, Discovery, Redlove, Bramley and crab apples grown on Gibbet Oak Farm.

Complex and smokey, fruit-forward Discovery and Russet supported by the acid backbone of Bramley, Redlove and the super weapon that is the humble crab apple.

In memory of Alan Water 1945 - 2024

I first met Alan in 2006 when I was working as part of a small film crew filming the annual Wildwood earth burn. I immediately fell in love with charcoal burning and the community surrounding it.

Alan was such a huge inspiration, always supportive and a force to be reckoned with. He will be dearly missed.
